Nikias Diamond has won the National Environment and Energy Efficiency Commercial Building Award for their involvement with the innovative Compass House.
Each year Master Builders Australia acknowledges excellence in the building and construction industry through its prestigious National Awards.
Master Builders' National Awards are divided into a number of categories. Nominations for the housing and commercial/industrial categories are submitted through State and Territory Master Builders associations which have their own awards processes. The State and Territory Award winners in their nominated categories become finalists for the National Awards and are judged accordingly.
Nikias Diamond won the ACT Commercial Project Exhibiting Innovation Award in July 2012.
The 2012 National Awards were presented in the Great Hall, Parliament House, Canberra on 16 November. Nikias Diamond was among six finalists for their category including the Ergon Energy Corporate Property Redevelopment Mackay, the Australian Institute of Management Katitjin Centre WA, Sandvik HVS Newcastle, Darling Quarter and Commonwealth Bank Place NSW and Edithvale/Seaford Discovery Centre VIC.
Rudds would like to congratulate Nikias Diamond on their well deserved win.
