5 Bodalla Place, or Compass House as it has been named for its ability to provide ‘a new direction in energy efficient building design’, is owned by the two Rudds Directors and has been purpose designed and built as the headquarters for Rudds Consulting Engineers by Rudds' own personnel.

This project continues Rudds’ involvement in the Majura Valley development, having already contributed to the Majura Parkway project, Majura Office Park, Majura Park Shopping Centre, as well as a number of other retail & commercial buildings around the airport precinct.

The NATSEM International Microsimulation Centre provides many benefits to the University of Canberra. The building consists of 680m2 of office space, 467m2 of teaching space, 210m2 of accommodation, a large kitchen and the corresponding circulation space and amenities.

The design of Orange building started in mid 2006, the first building to be replaced from the old Benjamin Offices South. The building was designed to meet the energy performance of 4.5 star ABGR (NABERS) while conform with very competitive budget.

The existing PC3 Laboratory was of insufficient size and needed to be expanded with new equipment installed. As this was not possible at its current site it was proposed to construct a new laboratory elsewhere on the floor.
